Myth 2: "We're too small to be a target for hackers."
This one is backwards. Small businesses are often easier targets precisely because they're small attackers know they're less likely to have a firewall, updated passwords, or any real security monitoring in place. Size doesn't protect you; preparation does.
Myth 3: "Our home router can handle the whole office."
Home routers are built for a handful of devices streaming and browsing not for a full office running multiple workstations, shared files, and business-grade security needs. It's the equivalent of using a bicycle to move office furniture: it might get the job done once, but it won't hold up.

Your network is the backbone of everything your business does online sales, communication, payments, customer data. Waiting for a crash to take it seriously usually means paying far more to fix it than it would have cost to prevent it.
